As much as I agreed she doesn't have the obligation to do that. Why should she's the one to take a burden to keep their relationships? It will be more cruel if she act like the og host n that guy slowly realises that's not the person he knows. The betrayal n lies, how do you feel if you're friends just actually pretend to be your friend all this time? Will you like it more as he getting more hurts every time being lied by female lead?
Someone had replied to my original comment and it was kinda eating away at me that although I had changed the autocorrect fail, I never explained what t meant by it.
The absolute best case scenario for this situation, in my mind, is that she tells him that something happened and she lost a lot of memories, that she realizes that not getting to morn his friend sucks and that it would be best to let go of the girl she used to be because not only is she no longer little, she's no longer the same.
I would just feel so bad after that. I hope she starts acting a little kinder to him. I get her perspective I really do, but it's still not fair to him. He not only didn't get to say goodbye, he doesn't have the capacity to even realize the person he shared such precious memories with, is gone. :(
(This is edited because autocorrect changed “kinder” to “longer” and that made it look like I wanted her to pretend she's still the same person, which is not at ALL the case)
