I don’t even think naive would be a good word to describe Yejun. He literally just let them do whatever to his son without asking ANY questions, and was way to lenient with Doyoon in the first place. We still don’t know what the “treatments” are really for or what they’re supposed to do for the son in the long run. But I don’t think that Doyoon is actually harming the child, I think he’s playing the dad and is gonna have a gotcha moment in the end.
