Theyre not really connected. Some ORV characters appear as skins in the Metabus arc. But the timelines arent the same in any important sense.
The author is the same that's why, tho eventually in the epilogue, yjh and biyu will meet Jaehwan, maybe coz they're search for kdj fragments.
I just think they have the same multiverse or something.

So I came a little while ago when chapter 100 had just updated, and asked the question about how this timeline aligns with the ORV timeline... can someone give details about that? (In ch100 Kim Dokja was listed as a "skin" this MC could use)
Also other spoilers for this would be appreciated so I know what I'm walking into
