I think the system just knows? Idk that's my guess. Def didn't use his hunter ID. He used tomato market, bc he couldn't use it.

he tried logging in but he can't so he created a new one. his old account's been deleted probably due to inactivity, the system just knows, I guess, coz it's the one who awakened the hunters anyway. there was an instance in the novel when someone tried to hide from the system, that was a special case tho
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he use his J Hunter ID to make an account on that online market app? Maybe that's how the system got notified he is alive again or is it another way?
Also, I now have a feeling that J might have saved our ML when he was still a child.
