Honestly, would it really be hurting anyone if she was just an adult? She could so easily be 20 (I’d even take 18) and it’d be SIGNIFICANTLY more appropriate

If you want to do a young courtesan plot then don’t make her love interest an adult. Seriously, it’s so weird

    Exactly my thought, it wouldn't change the plot significantly if she was 20.
