hm. i tend to call out on rapey bl when i see it . i am honestly curious why p0rn without plot and toxic rape bls make the trends . so indeed i read them for myself and then laugh at how people try to rationalize it.
guys, liking a character whose whole character arc is being an asshole and a rapist does in fact make you a bad person. your favorite chatacter (or a character you like/enjoy) is something you actively choose.
being accepting of fictional rapists just makes the lines more blurry when it comes to real life rapists. i swear y'all would've been the people falling for ted bundy bc all it takes is an attractive looking man (fictional or otherwise) to get y'all's panties in a tiffy.
i swear to got that reading stories where no characters are bad people is actually more enjoyable. cause like what do you get out of this? getting to excuse your moral corruption with the fact that it's fiction? rape and manipulation happens irl and the fact that there are instances where you can look past it says a lot.
i really hope you people don't ever have to go through something like that cause god knows you damn well deserve it.
