Not if you compare it to the novel. It was good for an average smut in BL, but in the novel they get down and dirty.
I think he just doesn’t meet my expectations after reading the novel. He looks at most average (he also genuinely looks really awkward) and his ass is really flat, even though ML in the novel praises it a lot and says it’s a work of art, I just expected more from those descriptions

Hope they make his ass less flat in second season, and face more pretty. Also just so you all are not disappointed, the novel is pretty short, it’s still good though. It has one of the best smut I've seen and the R18 adaptation doesn’t do it justice.
