yea they live happily together till old age than die, so their life didn’t really end tragically since they got to live together for the rest of their lives
karel saves him and they run off tg to america and their whole misunderstanding gets resolved, as their running off karel finds sasya’s letter and breaks down crying or something, this is what i rmb from the spoilers that someone dropped a while ago
