He's gonna end up with the captain?! He's not gonna go back to his own world?! Bro the author really plans to fuck the MC's life. I still wonder maybe he died and just doesn't remember that's why he's on his own novel that is being rewritten by someone else.

Sorry for the spoiler but I’m sure I heard that he will go back home and that they will forget about him etc…

First, you’re wrong on him not going home. He gets with the captain cause hint hint something connects her with his own world. Second, he goes back to his old world because he kills or destroys the co author by sacrificing himself (he goes alone without anyone) then after the word reverts and everyone’s memory of him is faded

Actually that’s for the best. He misses his family, but he wouldn’t want the connections he made in this world to suffer without him when he goes back, yet he wouldn’t want to stay (I wouldn’t want to either if I have my family back in my og world) so it’s best for them to forget him. I like that kind of ending.

I thought it was that he had to stay in the fictional world cause he was the core to its existence.

Omg, I actually just read the spoilers I mentioned from the comment section and I actually liked this ending better, though I still feel bad for the MC, he's gonna remember everything while everyone forgot about him well I guess it's for the greater good

That’s the reverse part of it, all their memories were gone of him which led him to detach himself from being the core. It’s really weird but alas it’s a good way to end it
