Yeah. Like, does his regret erase her trauma and suffocating childhood? No, it doesn’t. And who knows if he ever even came to care for her if she didn’t mold herself into what he wanted? It’s always in this kind of stories that fathers are super neglectful, or straight up abusive, and only start to care when their kids act certain way. For those who have an issue that she doesn’t forgive the emperor, a.k.a the person who neglected her (neglect is a form of abuse btw, in case some of y’all forgot), read literally any other story of this genre. It’s an incredibly common and popular trope for MC’s to forgive their fathers no matter how neglectful they were. Personally, I’m tired of it. I couldn’t be more excited for her to leave, I’m so glad manhwa like this was made. I wish there were more. So, just read literally anything else cause they are ALL like that. I can even give u names if u don’t know them.
