I know he's just kidding and tricking the kid to grow healthy and well, but to blatantly say that infront of your lover specially when you've just become lovers, it will hurt man, and you know that baby seem has a fragile heart ╥﹏╥, great communication though, still, you have to take into consideration of your lover's feelings, plus it's giving false hope to the kid.
