my fujo senses must be not working today because i can't really feel any chemistry between gareth and he mian. their relationship feels somewhat forced and doesn't come as naturally as how the author intended for it to be. like i get what they're supposed to represent (warrior x final villain) which is an AMAZING dynamic that you could do so many things with, but this... this is just lukewarm. you cooked, but you forgot the seasoning.

meanwhile color me surprised when charlie showed up because man i felt BUTTERFLIES. i love his and he mian's dynamic a little bit too much that i shipped them romantically at some point but since that's impossible (though would not really stop me from shipping them in my head) ((and charlie's probably gonna end up with zhi zhi, let's be real)), their being best friends is already very good (i lied. of course i want them to be together (ノ｀Д´)ノ彡┻━┻).
