ML calmly broke it off because he didn’t want MC to go along with his roughness or something sadism, cause he knows MC goes along with the roughness to please ML.
ML being hated for that is appalling. Instead of hating on him, why don’t you request for therapy for MC who needs it? His trauma is not ML’s responsibility, yes ML may have triggered MC, but that is not solely due to ML.
I do think both of them could’ve made rational choices but we wouldn’t have a story if they made rational choices.
