In this case I don't feel bad for him because he never confessed. Yiyoung confessed or more like kissed him and let director to understand that Yiyoung has feelings for him. Maybe director would have never dated a man in his life if it wasn't for Yiyoung. Doyeon didn't confess his feelings and know he thinks he has the right to butt into their relationship.
