once again coming back to this. like urghhh yes stories where both inspire each other to be better, to regain normalcy, to mellow out and enjoy simplicity are good. great. love em. BUT. the intimacy, the sheer vulnerability in baring all of your hideous monstrosity and not only are you accepted, your loved one turns around and says, "yeah. i'm beyond saving too." and there's nothing to be fixed bc what we share is so good, we wouldn't be able to have it if one of us is to be "normal," and that's ok. we'll walk into hell together, hand in shaking hand. god.
