bittersweet nostalgia

I let this manhwa marinate for 4 years and it's worth binge reading it within two days. Wouldn't recommend this for those who are used to weekly updates that do consistent plot building each chapter like the shounen hunterverse manhwas.

It is a slow build manhwa filled with nostalgia and sweetness of childhood memories. You can also feel the details in the background leading up to the mysteries and main plot regarding the spirits and prasties.

I felt sad that the characters grew up because of their innocent childhood moments and bonding with family and friends. I also miss Anastasia and Pavel baking stuff together, they were wholesome moments with the pure joy of baking and making desserts for the sake of it.

All in all, author really manages to make you feel the melancholy of having grown up from lovely childhood, slowly taking over responsibilities, becoming independent and the shift in family dynamics (like mc's parents who chose to leave the palace and can't come back), that too for the second time. First time being real life.

This really is one of those manhwas that make you feel strongly if you're sensitive. I still feel the pain in my throat as I write this. Hats off to the author.
