Also what's with the "Straight Seth" comments? Seth is a historically Bi sexual god amidst so much bi erasure. As a bi person this is mildly amusing that readers can't think of a character as "Bisexual" and categorise them as "straight" or "gay"

To be fair, there's a common trope in manga "it's because it's you and not because I'm gay" which honestly is just the uneducated version of bi. It's surprising how people forget bi and pan people are a thing

I think early on though Seth had said he’s not interested in men, that and the fact that Osiris & Horus forced themselves on him. I don’t think he prefers men tbh

Yeah it rubbed me the wrong way tbh…these comments reek of bi-phobia

There is something called denial and straight bias. It's difficult for lot of us bisexuals to get accustomed to the thought of bi. If he wasn't bisexual then he wouldn't have been attracted to Horus or climbed in bed even for "revenge" İn the first place.

The cases in which seth was introduced to sodomy was through rape. And that kind of thing can lead to trauma. He was raped multiple times subsequently and under no circumstances that's justified. Just because someone is sexually attracted to men doesn't mean they want to be RAPED. I personally think he was a bit softer with FG partly because of the drugs, partly because he enjoyed the intercourse but that was STILL SA.

However you will find later that there is a lot more to his backstory. And nepthys is not his first lover. Seeing Nepthys and "straight Seth" As some sort of paradise just feels off putting.

To me Nephthys and Seth could not be called a paradise because I still find it pretty weird how Seth never even noticed the change in Nephthys... I mean, all of a sudden she started secretly simping for another dude... and he never noticed a difference? O...k, but it still leaves me in doubt about how come he has never picked up on the fact there is something seriously wrong with her, when he seems capable of understand Horus', Isis' and even Osiris' minds pretty well.
