I always believe people misinterpreted the ending because it came off as very vague. But it was fairly obvious it was Jooha remembering Dooshik and them "reuniting" after him losing his memories for so long. I am glad the author was able to give a more solid answer now for fans.
Yes I think so too cus some people did tell me that he DID die and I remember rereading it a lot cus I was so confused cus when I read it I never saw any of that. But yea it was obvious if jooha remembering

Exactly! I think everyone was just so traumatized with the whole story they just jumped right to it being a traumatic ending (￣∇￣") lol kinda happens when 90% of a story deals with sex trafficking, SA, assault/verbal/mental abuse, kidnapping, death and gang violence #－.－)
But anyway just happy we got a happy ending instead!
