Cyrus (ML) did not kill Tiana (FL) in the 1st TL, it was the dukes daughter Juliane that Tiana believes Cyrus loves (which he doesn't). ML only ever loved FL since they met during childhood which she doesn't remember. He is completely devoted to her.
Juliane used sorcery to change her appearance into ML and attacked FL but she knew straight away that it wasn't really the ML because he would never speak to her in such a way or harm her, she believed in him which she called out and Juliane returns to her normal appearance, tells FL she's going to attack ML while wearing the FLs appearance. FL thinks that she shouldn't have loved him if he would end up getting hurt because of her, she wishes for his happiness.
Julianne goes to ML with the appearance of FL as stated and tries to get him to sleep with her but of course ML knew instantly it wasn't his lover but in fact Julianne in front of him, they argue about something or other, he goes to cut her down with his sword but she got protected by her chamberlain (who was the sorcerer) the chamberlain talks about the MLs sword being able to grant wishes with blood which shocks ML since nobody outside his family should know about it but he says because he is the owner of the sword, others shouldn't be able to have their wishes granted. The chamberlain then stabs Julianne and ML ignores her noise as he rushes to find the FL who is laying on the floor soaked in blood, he is so shocked and holds her in his arms, she mutter "thank goodness" but dies shortly after, he spends hours holding her till the sun rises and people are knocking on the door trying to get in, the Prince (Isaac) eventually comes and opens the door but by then the ML cuts the FLs hand while apologizing to her and slits his throat with his sword making his wish to go back and be able to protect her properly.

The reasons the FL thinks ML is the one who killed her is because of the wish she made before she died, the sword cut her hand and took her blood (it is said that maybe the willpower of the person is also necessary in granting the wish) what she wished for is to not love him so that he could be happy, reason why her memory was partially erased, leading to her last memory of him being actually Julianne.

Alright, now to explain the twin assassins that she met, originally they were hired to kill her, in the first TL and ML is the one who makes them submit to him as their master but in the current TL FL meets them first and calls out their names, the first person who calls their names will be their master, therefore they serve her instead (I think they actually like serving her because she doesn't treat them as tools and they feel like they have finally become human)

One day, she sneaks out of the castle with the male assassin to the town to walk around in disguise. There, she spots Julianne being dragged into an alleyway and hurries to follow her because she was worried, to her surprise she finds Julianne speaking vulgarly and has the man on the ground licking her feet and leg like a dog. She is shocked and asks the assassin to investigate her relationships with men. She thinks "Can this type of person make Cyrus happy?"
Eventually she gets the report back saying that Julianne has at least 2 other men with which she treats like the man they saw in the alley, they take her to the dukes mansion at night and see through a window that Julianne is standing in the room with a man who looks like a noble and his head is in her chest, there is also a person standing at the window with their back to the window (this person later turns out to be the chamberlain)

ML and FL go on a date to the town and she has to pretend it's her first time there, it goes well and they have a good time until they come to a crepe store and the husband that works there recognises her saying she looks different from last time, asking if the man next to her is also the same man from last time, the wife smacks the husband and the ML gives them money before dragging the FL back to the castle. He takes her to his room and pushes her onto the bed, questions her about the man but obviously she can't answer and she's too scared to explain, they kiss and he touches her all over, eventually when he gets to her underwear he notices it's see through, he gets even more agitated asking who she wanted to show them to after she says she didn't mean for him to see, she says nobody (the maid had her wear them for her date to make her feel more confident), he rips off the underwear and touches her some more. She resists at first but eventually allows it and realizes she still loves him even if he killed her and loves another woman. They have sex. The FL wakes up and sees the ML hunched over at the edge of the bed crying and muttering something but she is too tired to speak and goes back to sleep. The ML tells the Prince that he and the ML slept together, the Prince is shocked but not too surprised given how he knows that the ML is deeply in love with her, he asks if it was forced and the ML tells him no. The Prince thinks that makes sense as the FL didn't seem to hate Cyrus but misunderstood something.

FL wakes up in in the MLs room after the maid comes to bring her food, which she then notices that she is chained. The chain allows her to move around the room and perhaps she would even be able to reach her room next door but she doesn't want the guards outside to see her like that so stays in the room. ML comes back and they spend a few days awkwardly not speaking of anything that happened, they sleep together in bed. This whole time she still believes he loves Julianne and all his actions are to prepare to welcome Julianne as his real fiancée, and he's making sure that she doesn't ruin those plans.
The Prince tells the ML that he's sending him on a mission which he is reluctant about but agrees to which then the ML tells the FL he'll be away for a few days and to behave in the meantime. Once he leaves the FL calls her assassins and gets out of the chains, she hears that the man in the alley from last time is in the castle dungeon and visits him, he doesn't talk at first but when she mentions Julianne he speaks and tells her to tell Julianne he is sorry for not being able to complete his task. She knows Julianne is at the castle right now so decides to go to the dukes mansion to find evidence of Juliannes wrongdoings so that she can keep her away from ML, even if he hates her for it. She and one of the assassins go while one stays behind like last time, but this time it's the female one that accompanies her. The assassin shows FL a blueprint of the mansion and creates a distraction for the guards and FL sneaks in easily, ends up in Juliannes room and finds a secret passage of some sort around her bed (I'm not sure if it was a room or a large compartment because it kinda confused me but the FL entered it anyways) there she found a diary filled with obsessive writing about Cyrus and then anger about FL. She can't tell which parts are true and what is a delusion. She also finds a letter which turns out to be what she is looking for and stuffs it inside her dress. People come to room shouting there's an intruder and search around, they don't find her and leave but then she gets dragged out by a man and thrown into an underground dungeon where she realises that the man was Cedric, Juliannes brother.
He reveals that he is in love with Julianne and happy to do anything for her. He believes they love each other. He tells FL that when Julianne comes back a man will come and attack her while Julianne watches to see her face in despair. When he leaves the assassin talks to FL through the barred dungeon window and says she can't break it because it's got a spell, FL tells her to take the letter to the Prince and hopes he will be able to come even if it's after she is dead. Alone again she adjusts to the darkness and then hears someone else is in the dungeon, it turns out to be a woman that looks very similar to Julianne. (Some part wasn't translated so idk how she got to the dukes place initially) The woman reveals that she has been sleeping with Cedric and he calls out Juliannes name during it. This leads FL to believe that he is being tricked into thinking he's having sex with his sister by magic. When Cedric comes back the two of them are huddled together and he doesn't know who the other man is, FL calls him out and so does the woman, even revealing his mole that only the person he slept with should know. This only angers him more and more and he brings in 2 men deciding not to wait for his sister anymore. He unlocks the cell and the men approach. FL attacks then men in spots that the female assassin told her about before she left. The other woman attacks Cedric and runs out the cell, a man is about to attack FL when the woman comes with a chair and knocks him over the head. FL takes her brooch that she got from ML on their date and stabs the man's shoulder with it, the brooch shines a bright light and ML barges in.
While knights are cleaning up the mess ML and FL are talking and she apologises, thinking he's angry she left the room and also ruined his chance to be with Julianne. He explains that he was scared she would die. She's confused. He's confused. He takes her back to the castle (can't remember if it's before of after they both got confused lol) and rush past the Prince, into MLs room.
He says explains everything from the 1st TL and how he couldn't explain earlier because the wish gave him constraints making him unable to talk about it until the wish was fully granted. She cries after realising she was wrong, confess their love, they have sex again. The next day they speak to the Prince and turns out the letter she gave him was proof that Julianne was working with the Princes older brother to assassinate him. The older Prince wanted the throne but had a bad personality so the father didn't choose him. The duke, Cedric and Julianne were to be executed while the duchess didn't do anything so was sent to a monastery. Everyone else who was involved also was to be punished.
The chamberlain comes to Julianne in the cell and helps her escape (the Prince and Cyrus agreed for some reason and the Chamberlain gave them a necklace that allowed them to know if the older Prince returned to the castle with murderous intentions) Julianne wakes up chained to a bed and gets raped by a dirty man while the chamberlain watches. The chamberlain wants her to fall and break so they can have her.

They have a party at the castle to celebrate. The ex fiancée shows up with the woman and he starts making eyes at FL and says he'll allow her to come back to him when he is king, essentially as a concubine. FL is disgusted and looks to ML who is just smiling peacefully when the King speaks and says he denounces the ex fiancée from the throne and it'll go to his younger 8 year old brother. He's like why why father and the king says it's for wrongfully accusing his ex fiancée and for embezzlement to give gifts to the woman. The woman was also to be locked up with crimes of forgery, defamation, insult to royalty etc and also rape. Everyone is shocked.
FLs family enter and cry at their reunion, the brother who was supposedly on the other woman's side says he couldn't go against her and turns out he was the one that was raped by her (it also says he managed to fight and get away but I'm not sure if it meant that he got away from her control or her rape) FL hugs him and he says he's dirty but FL says he isn't. She realises that her family truly did care about her and she wasn't alone. FL and ML get engaged and meet both families, they still sleep in the same room together and will eventually move into their own mansion. The necklace from the chamberlain glows and indicates the older Prince is back and swiftly the guards and Crown Prince arrest him while ML protects FL and her family who were staying at the castle too. Now everything is solved.
