Honestly I dont understand how yall want him to end up with TJ. He’s tried to escape that life and he did. He needs someone stable and clean right now. I guess this epidemic of staying in toxic relationships is still alive and well. Romanticizing abuse, toxicity and shit. Idc if he loved him, the flashbacks, the lingering feelings. All of that is in the past. Its all nonsense really. A very crucial narrative yes but yall are not absorbing it right omfg. Not the author clearly drawing the line between the two men, showing how strikingly different they are but more than half of the fandom are still raging over Ian not ending up with someone who is violent and a murderer. Idk why yall want him to stay with someone who’s LITERALLY staying in the same place for years. The very place Ian was stuck in and hated it. THE VERY PLACE HE WANTED TO KILL HIMSELF. This community is so brain rot, man.

Its beyond me how some people still miss the whole point/lesson of the story despite all of the contrasts the author has been making ??? At some point I felt like we’re getting the story spoon fed & some people still refuse to see it for what it is

My sentiments exactly!! As someone who have read tons of toxic mangas or that of the likes. This is a breath of fresh air I feel we needed unlike the toxic top pathetic bottom trope or both whatever-I find it rather somewhat sweet how the story progress even though some past events were rather traumatic? and unpleasant. I hope Ian will find his happiness at the end. Jo seems like such a nice person and I've been rooting for him since D-1( beautifully characterized
