You can't be hypnotised to do something you don't want to do. Never. So... rape ? Yeah, no. You can't rape someone when you're hypnotised, nor kill nor steal, nor take your own life or whatever you may think of, you only do things you agree to do. That's why I made this post. Let's not treat hypnotism like some magical spell, it exist, but it have rules and boundaries set in stone that no one can do anything about : like raping someone, totally impossible. Therefore, my question ? Does the author know ANYTHING about hypnotism ? I guess not. It explain the "rape under hypnotism" which, once again is totallyyyyy impossible on any circumstances whatsoever in any possible way. That was what my comment was talking about if it wasn't clear enough, sorry.
An other thing, you can't hyspnotise someone against their consent since you can only be hypnotise when you consent since if you don't consent then nothing happen at all. This sentence make no sense whatsoever. Then again, this author doesn't know what she's doing. There's rules in this field impossible to transgress and she's doing everything wrong and things that are normally impossible. I find myself looking at this like I look at BDSM stories with no rules that are respected, it's actually kinda annoying, but it's just me I guess.
Ig in this context it is magical.
Considering how he learned to hypnotize in the first place. I dont think reading a book and hypnotizing someone first try is possible either.
And if we are gonna go with the "they wont do something they dont want to" argument then what about them wanting to be hypnotized or not? Do they want to be hypnotized? Or actually do they know they are being hypnotized?
I dont think (in this context, since i dont believe the author knows anything about hypnotization and is basing this story on stereotypes) that they want to be in this situation at all since they didn't consent to be hypnotized in the first place so in retrospect it is considered rape.
And again, it doesn't matter what you want on the inside, it is very important to give enthusiastic consent with sexual activities so confusions like this wont happen
So without having obvious consent(for example: "yes i want to have sex with you" ect..) it can easily fall under the umbrella of rape.
I'm not sure right now if author-nim know hypnotism and is playing with us or just do whatever with a subject she doesn't know anything about... I'm really curious and hope for the better.
I absolutely don't want to say something bad, but if it's real hypnotism then, if he's not hyspnotised, he's just cheating (and not raped like some people say). Because I just read the chapter and he's liking it, like, really. And if he's hypnotised, he's still cheating actually, you can't hypnotise someone who doesn't want to be and it's not magic, it's just suggestion, you absolutelly cannot make someone do something he doesn't want to do, absolutely impossible. Just stating some fact and my opinion too. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Still, I really think that author-nim is using hyspnotism without knowing anything about it and is using it like some magical shit so that doesn't make any sense for people who actually know what it is... So if that's really what it is, then yes, he's getting raped, as is the man who's fucking him, he's also getting raped because he's probably not even gay to begin with (I guess ?). Sigh, I really don't know what to think of this...
