Yep, we read the same thing. Confused what to feel atm tbh. Thinking of dropping this but the art is good so maybe I'll keep reading for now.
It’s surprising because he was initially portrayed as a good guy, only for it to be revealed that he isn’t.
But considering he’s a mercenary from the desert, it makes sense that his morals are skewed. After all, mercenaries are pretty much like criminals. They prioritize profit over ethics, so this really feels more like a bad guy turning good than the other way around.
So the top’s planning on SA-ing the bottom then offing him?
