I also think like that at first, because their age gap isn't that big/lot. The daughter is already a teenager and the mc is like in his -30's so pretty young. Also the blushes (cause the mc is handsome) of the daughter seems creepy and odd. But, I ignored it all and thank God it did not disappoint me. (^～^;)ゞ
As someone who have read this before, I also first felt that the daughter is somehow kinda clingy and annoying to his 'father' but that daughter is actually his niece, the daughter of his brother, so basically the mc is the Uncle.
