because she's a princess she feel entitled to her anger because Dani didn't tell her.. but she really has no right to it.. Dani had no obligation to tell her how she felt about the general, and how was she supposed to oppose a Princess in this situation ?

    I believe it's because she thought Dani would have trusted her friend, the Princess, enough to share how she felt about the General before making an embarrassment of herself by proposing to the General and have her feelings rejected. She wouldn't have done so if she knew because she adores Dani and respects her even if she is a low born. The princess has a kind heart and felt hurt is the way I see it.

    I agree with all you say.. I'm just saying it's misplaced anger.. A self reflective person would know that Dani had no fault in this situation and the princess's anger is really embarrassment that shouldn't be taken out on Dani.
