So this story doesn't have any romance at all, and it started off as there was a rumor that a monster was in the forest killing ppl who enters it and while the forest is full of leaves trees and grass, the village on the other hand ( including parts that aren't in the forest) is dried up and not a single grass can be seen except the forest,
speeding up There was a kid being abandoned and the Mc ( who looks like a child but is actually old than he looks [ he's immortal btw ] because of the power he has which is everything/anything he touches would grow plants,) He came across this abandoned child eating/roaming around, but he finds himself taking care of it, and one day that child got badly hur and he healed him using his powers, nit only did the injury healed but the child also grew ( grew as in he looked older)
The last chap I've read is he had now found lots of friends, they found a house which the Mc is familiar to, and the bad guys found their location, Mc sacrificed himself putting thorns around the house so that the bad guys can't reach them:<
