Okay so second half it gets better, from the top’s perspective a bit, but also it kinda rewrites the vibe of everything that happened??? Like hosik apparently just woke up the morning of first night and not mid-being-fucked like the initial retelling??? And apparently it wasnt against his will even tho they were drunk? And apparently they’d been friends for a while doing uni project collaboration and going on lunch dates and stuff together and apparently hosik had a crush on him but the blond friend said homophobic shit liek “if it’s two guys ew gross” so his internalized homophobia kicked in and he himself once he realized that’d make them gay?? Which I don’t freaking understand why this is a thing, like the whole point of omegaverse Is to not have the standard world homophobia but no it’s well and present in this comic along with CONSTANT background characters nagging at how the baby looks like the top, how he baby must be the top’s and hosik’s cousins, how “they didn’t realized hosik and him were close” etc etc and there wasn’t a single satisfying moment of hosik not giving a shit about those gossips and proudly announcing they’re married and it’s their kids, like till the end he’s still hiding it on his class reunion, I wanna pull my hair out

But anyway ye second half hosik very much acts like he wants to be in that relationship and he DOES go back and graduate uni and he does speak up about the top being so careful and possessive over him (even tho top doesn’t really listen and assigns bodyguards etc, but ok bro is terrified of smth happening to hosik, cause apparently in a past reincarnation he knew all his life about their original life and og hosik dying etc and depressed cause he hadn’t met hosik at all till he did so I’m not sure if modern time him also remembers it ALL or what)

But like if it was gonna be wholesome second half and rewrite the reality then why the hell start the comic in such a manipulative top way, like it wasn’t at least left ambiguous in the first half to then in second half to be explained that hosik liked him actually, in first half youre TOLD by hosik’s thoughts how much all that shit wasn’t consensual how he’s freaked out about everything SO I DONT GET THIS SHIT but anyway

And then the side stories of second pregnancy problems and complications and og past life and past reincarnation left me SOBBING MY EYES OUT like AAAAAAAA, but I still don’t know how I’d feel about first half of the story if I ever reread
