I'm not forgiving him, but he's not really saying excuses to me, he's saying exactly "I'm a bastard that can think only about what I wanna do because I don't always know that what I'm doing is wrong". His mental disorder prevents him from knowing what should be right or wrong. So as he said, he keeps hurting Inseob and will continue to do so because he's not dignosed, he's not seeing a therapist and he will keep doing bad things because he literally knows no better.
He actually knows better, he just doesn't want to do better. He's selfish by nature. Plenty of people with aspd do not commit crimes, even if it's for the sake of not getting in trouble only.
i hope you don't get into any relationship with a person with apd bc these are excuses. he's saying "hey i can't help i'm an asshole, i have a disorder is that so bad???" he absolutely knows better, he just doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself. do not give him the benefit of the doubt, he is only explaining his disorder to gain sympathy from mc. he said he had APD not that he's stupid, he knows right from wrong.
