They changed the ending that's why. Originally they followed the novel pretty well. But they said fuck it last minute and fucked everything up. Reze is insane. In the novel she was repeating because she was scared of an unknown story. Basically she created the loop herself in order to stop moving forawrd and continue a story she has no idea what's going to happen next. But eventually she got bored and then she started putting souls into edith to make the story more interesting by watching them try to fight and eventually be killed by the story. She's genuinely demented. The only thing the manhwa got right is that her second book flopped so she wished to be rize. And to make jt worse before the authors isekai she actually was pretty popular but then she started bullying newer authors and she got canceled for it.

But why would the author be pissed at Edith? If she is sick of going on a loop, wouldn’t a variable mean author wouldn’t go back to the beginning this time? Like it's a win win no??
