The first time a "side story" made me question my existence was with "roses and champagne". Shit felt like another season. There was a major cliffhanger in between side story chapters eith a hiatus to top it off. They don't make side stories like they used to. I'm old school, I want my side stories trauma/drama-free
side stories these days, even more packed full with angst, misunderstanding, and dragged conflict than the actual main story... I don't even know anymore what's the point of putting those chapters as 'Side Stories' when they are more plotting than the actual plot
