Riiiight???! all of her friends are good to her, her life is ok except for her parents. When she saw her good friends having good relationship with their own parent she got insecure and shi, no problem it's her emotion.
But she's pushing her own insecurities to other people and "Saving" them giving her sense of heroism or some for herself
