Yeah I want him to be able to grow outside of the relationship but I also don’t think the author will have his major development happen off screen during a time skip sooo (⌒▽⌒)
My prediction is Cirrus is going to come back a whole new man with a lot of new life and relationships experience, maybe one person he has a lasting connection with but ultimately he’s unfulfilled and Skylar is going to remain nearly unchanged and still miserable until Cirrus comes back and they start their song and dance again.
