Why are people so quick to be mean

I don't think people really understand the way things are in Korea, The girl is long time friend's with seme and knows what it's like to feel 'different' and homosexuality is one of those things that people in Korea consider as abnormal, the girl doesn't want that for her friend, and wants him. To live a 'normal' life.

Y'all let's not be misogynistic in the comments, she's not a pick me nor is she a bitch, she's a woman in Korea, (y'all already know how bad it is there for women) Y'all must understand how things are for the people there

    Yes you're so right
Let's not be misogynistic, Yaoi is not a pretext to be

This excuse gets tiring. As someone who comes from a country where being gay is also a lot more looked down upon, I don't care if she also comes from a country like that, did you also just forget about queer women in korea? Or even trans people?? No I'm not going to understand because having to constantly be "understanding" for people who don't even like you gets tiring

I do understand the misogyny tho, some people go a little too far, and people who read yaoi do tend to be misogynistic for some odd reason. I was more talking about the growing up in a country where it's looked down upon.

wdym misogynistic? it has nothing to do with her gender, and it was about her story not aligning with her not being a supportive friend’, so idk why you automatically relates it to the women in korea (tho i am completely agree with how things in korea if youre a women). but, the point is, even if she’s a man, and the reasoning is the same, it is still unrelated with the main characters and not a reason to be homophobic towards Ho and Kwon.

It's placed in the country side of Korea my guy, it's the way things are in Korea, since in their eyes they're trying to help, she's not bad just ignorant, I don't think we should be that irritated of her, and also what im saying is people have the right to be annoyed, but the way they describe her to be some monster or pick me reminds me of other manwha women who were just existing and did a little bit of something, and they were treated like a witch ot sm

Not even just people who read yaoi, but people who read manwhas as a whole tend to view women who happen to be an 'obstacle' or against the MC of the story to be evil witches when in reality it's not that bad??? And also the way that it's not the same thing when it's with evil handsome men

Srry but that’s how love stories work even in three way romances the less liked love interest is lowkey a villain to the main couple everyone wants.

still not gonna correlate anything to misogynistic since the comments here are more about people coming after her because of how irrelevant her reasoning(s) to Ho and Kwon’s relationship, and not about her being a woman (don’t generalized to all manhwa i think)

and if you’re saying that they are living in country side, which means ppl aren’t that open minded (which true), that could’ve been her reasoning and that would make more sense. but her problem was being neglected and lonely (which literally not a reason and do not give you the rights to intervene other ppl’s relationship and IRRELEVANT) and lets not forget she also did give out personal information of Mr. Kwon to other people. so imo, readers who end up feeling irritated to her is valid. it was all about her actions and her own problem that she could’ve just talked about it in a different way(s) and not projected (her sadness) it to other ppl.

You are right on that and have the right to be irritated by it, what I'm saying is that people are acting like the girl was murdering babies left and right and calling her a bitch and ect, the reason why I said to be understanding is not excusing her actions but want people to understand that her intentions weren't malicious rather just ignorant and not treat her like a scheming villain

I will say I super agree with that, that shit pisses me off so bad, when characters are literally rapists and people only mention how hot the man is. It happened with the boss in stranger than friends. People thought he was so hot the author decided to give him side chapters. FOR THE CHARACTER THAT TRIED TO RAPE THE MC???
