I've read at least 3 bl without toxic elements and I think I prefer they organic like that but I eat what I get and take the toxic ones or I might starve waiting for toxicity free BL
Novels might be a good addition to the meal. There are a few non-toxic ones

Heaven Official's Blessing is my top absolute green flags MC and ML (except for the villain of course) it's a book series of 7 books and I believe already or almost fully translated by Seven Seas and available on Amazon. I haven't found anything better than that one yet and it'll probably stay my number 1 for a long time
But I guess it ain't a BL without some toxicity sprinkled on top
