I get that, but she still went about it in the most awful way possible. She doesn't care what the ml wants, she did not once try to ask him, and when he tried to talk to her, she just pretty much told him to shut up BC she knows better than him about how he's gonna be treated, like he is stupid and had never once thought, and that she's gonna stop bc he's mad, but he should just let her keep doing it bc she's right and he doesn't know anything about being different. Like?? He lived his entire life as an orphan, and he knows the people in the village much better than she does, but she still sees herself in a position to meddle and just outright try to manipulate him out of his choices BC she doesn't like it

2.she literally mention "you know how I feel right?" because she knew the ML is orphan and has been treated bad by the villagers in the past

Obviously she isn’t evil, I don’t think anyone here thinks she’s evil, just annoying. Though I would like to point out that I think you’re babying her TOO much. She’s not 8 years old and she is not completely unaware as she knows what she did was wrong, and purposefully hid what she was doing. Had she truly been clueless, she would’ve genuinely been confused and keep insisting what she thinks. That’s what a sheltered person REALLY is. She also wasn’t stuck in the village all her life, and has been exposed to the outside world, aka when she spent time in the city with everyone else. She is not as clueless as y’all want her to be. I’m just wondering if you would’ve defended her with the same reasons had she been like 40.
Now about her intent:
I genuinely think she did not care as much about the ml’s feelings. Because if she truly cared, she would’ve not done anything or at least spoke to him about it. Going behind someone’s back and giving out their personal info based on your preference and belief is not okay. She didn’t care enough to get his opinion on that.
Even as she explained her reasonings for why she did what she did, she just went onto explaining what happened to herself, her own feelings, then projecting and saying “you know how I feel right? I just wanted to be happy like everybody else.” The main point of her explanation was showing her own feelings about her own situation. Then proceeding to put the apology as the very last thing, just throwing it at the end. She just wanted someone to listen to her problems. She’s thinking about what SHE would do and what she would want.

I would have defense her the same if she is 40 you see this plot a lot in real life with a lot of real mother/ father and family member of a person who come out.
