I definitely think so too, I just think because of his family he's had to think like a psychopath his whole life and is now like "How does feel??" I think even his batshit insanity up until now have been his way of showing affection for Tay, as fucked as it has been, he just doesn't know how to do it the right way lol.
yeah I can feel affection from some of his actions in latest chapters I hope that tay will show him how to express himself in the future or something happens that he realises
