This is my take.
She's unloved by her parents and she thinks she's abnormal for that, like she's the issue and not her dickhead parents.
Being gay is seen as abnormal as well.
She sees herself as abnormal and is unhappy, so she thought that the village head is unhappy since he's gay.
Boom, let me hook you up with a woman so you're back to normal and happy.
Still doesn't excuse her behaviour at all.
