Good thing for korean age system

It just dawned on me that korean age portrayed in manhwas are two years younger in actual age, or that 4 years old kid who lost his parents is actually 2 years old (this makes me cry) Or that 20 yo freshies who downs alcohol like water and ons everyweekendis 18 (like dude slowdown) Or that horny 18 highschool kid who blackmails their uke crush is just 16 (youre besically a kid now what) Or that 40 yo ahjuicy is 38 (isnt that impressive at this point but ahjuicy is younger now hehe)

Nothing revolutionary, i just forgets mostly that highschool and freshes are teens, barely young adults, and all this time i really thought they lived 20 years in life. Makes me question the things ive cheered the characters to do (too young for my morals but those practically goes away in mahwas)

Thats all for my ted talk

Yea this would be very confusing. Tho most of the manhwas currently still follow the old age system.
