i think he and everyone else believes he is but his father has denied him being illegitimate all his life so we dont really know for sure
Didn’t anyone see the Baroness giving birth to him. Surely some relatives or at least servants must've known she had been pregnant. Women carry babies 8-9 months, surely she couldn’t stay hidden that long.
