No matter how much poetic explaination author gives, it really just feels like seme started dating him out of pity. Sure later on he did come to love him but the at the beginning when they started going out just felt forced and one sided. Not to him being a mere 16y.o. To me seme looked like a guardian figure allowing akari to stay over or doing whatever he asked for, even the kiss looked like him just fulfilling a wish akari asked for. I liked the second half of the manga when they already had an established relationship and seme realising how he actually loves him but the first half felt weird and forced. I still prefer the main story of his friends over this but idk why this got more rating than that lol.
