They do if I remember correctly, but very late into the story. Think like the last two chapters or so. It's basically only at the end and then the extras are a little bit spicy. But yeah, it's definitely a slow burn

I will say it is supposedly AI translated so there are incorrect pronouns for Shane and different names for necromancers. That aside, it's REALLY good.
The other note I have is it takes until the extras for Shane and Meltier to do the deed. And the author was truly adamant about having no loose ends, coming up with a solution for even for Shane's original world. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
