i don’t think he did a 180, he’s probably waiting for wooyeon to introduce himself as someone from his past/feel comfortable with it. we can’t pin all the blame on him for not saying anything about recognizing the mc if the mc doesn’t do it either yk but i do agree he’s so precious love him so very much
