Idk why but the scenes where the sister explaining the ML's backstory is a but weird for me. Like, sis? Where did you come from? It's like she's telling the MC to put up with his bro because ge has a pity story
righht and she always comes at the“ right“ moments when mc might be mad or sad bc of the ml it just seems so forced
Riiiiightt, I agree, it’s almost like she’s brainwashing him, I get that she’s trying to give him the backstory but it’s coming from the wrong person. It would make more sense if the mc found out by himself or from the ml himself and then and only then, had the sister chip in to fill him in, if he gaps in his knowledge, to gain a better understanding, at least then we’ll know that it’s not something purposefully being imbedded in him to think otherwise. If he had come across the truth by accident I would’ve welcomed her input, but atp she’s just setting him upjust as u said, “to put up with him”.
Yeah icl I still can’t seem to feel sorry for the ml, like I get where author is tryna go w it, but I’m not emotionally moved or even conflicted, which is amazing when you think about it, we’ve seeing everything from the mc’s pov….I do want to see mc acc laugh w someone, as in his whole face light up talking to someone, or being carefree at some point , even if he still was w the ml, maybe if the ml noticed his behavioral change, then that may trigger some character development, or maybe if he had noticed mc blanking out more often and not gone straight to bed w him…cuz all they do is rub bodies w each other in bed…
