If I remember correctly (but I could be wrong) he ends up dying some time after the current chapter. I think he falls out of the window or something while hallucinating about the mc. I finished reading the novel a couple of years ago so I’m not super sure thou ! And yes I agree while I do feel bad for both of the shit couple for their endings it was all their self made tragedy and navier was honestly such an angel I could never. Everything that happend to them is honestly just karma in the best way ever - it’s poetic

I thought Sovieshu lasted at least until Gloriem (who is lost and raised by bandits shortly after she is taken away from the east empire) becomes an adult, because he search for her for years, and when finally he found her, all grown up, and explain her who she is and that he wants her back in his life, as father and daughter, Gloriem tells him off as she wants nothing to do with him..
I wanted more to happen to him he deserves what trashta got too.
A lot of people feeling bad for trashta excusing her saying it's everyone else's fault like the dukes but really and truly she was always trash, I mean who gets rescued then says I'm gonna shag someone else husband, I remember in the first few chapters she's sitting on the emperor and they both snicker and take the piss out of navier, she the expense of their joke. So no from the get for she was trash. No matter what back story not trashta and sovishit will never get my sympathies.
The duke got his revenge good for him.
