Okay so I really don't agree with you. I don't find that as much as a problem, and I didn't see him making the issue about himself, to me he was only sharing his experience and it also validated her experience because they both had complicated feelings about the things they liked when they are young so finding that common ground was a good thing. But I also think the manga would be so much better if they focus on her too. That being said I don't think the problem is in Subaru I think Kasane should improve herself in order to feel more confident. But I would also like if you explain it a little more about your point of view (▰˘◡˘▰)
i agree in that i also think that it's always Kasane that reassures Subaru between the two of them and that it seems so like it's every damn time lol. but i di understand that he's the one who's a little more insecure maybe or the one who needs more reassurance. i just sometimes feel like she's being 'put aside' a little :((( i just don't feel like the devotion's there on Subaru's side. but meh the relationship is still developing. i just keep comparing this to ase to sekken and i LOVED that one so maybe that's why im not liking this that much at this point in time. anyway, we'll see
I like them okay, I think they are absolutely adorable but I think the story needs to pay more attention to Kasane and her worries (or atleast show more). Theres a lot of conflicts surrounding Subaru like abt his crossdressing, his previous black company, his insecurities abt growing up not being into “boys stuff” and then his family. And literally the only conflict that is solely abt Kasane is when that cram school commissioned a mascot. I love Subaru but Kasane needs to reassure him every damn time. Why does that she’s the one that always has to adjust? Even when Kasane ranted to him abt the commission, he (somehow) made it about himself again. Its good that they communicate but for me, Kasane could really do someone better.
