It's genuinely one of the best independent ("girllboss") female leads in otome isekai, imo, and the ML isn't clichéd as well– so her independence isn't a plot device to "favour the cold ML" or anything like that, it really is just her personality.

Im trying to givie this the benefit of the doubt but she really just saw his cheat.....and 6 WHOLE CHAPTERS were all about her repeating over and over how mucb the real gl loved him and how mucb she doesnt and basically she tells him 52 times to break off the engagement. He has the AUDACITY TO CRY AND ACT VICTIM, AND SHE BACKS OFF?? Or basically doesnt say ANYTHING ELSE BAD TO HIM??? doesnt set any firm boundaries, isnt like "imma do this whether u like it or not" or "im not coming back here"
