I think “Death Delayed Because of the Will” is somewhat similar and I enjoyed it a lot too!
If you’ve already read that one, “A Trace of Wonder”/“A Trace of the Sun” is one I’m still reading that might match although I’ve heard that the ending is underwhelming or something like that, I’m not sure ╮(￣▽￣)╭
