“i’m an adult now” while visibly in a school uniform

It is said "I'm no linger a child" which is true tho also in jp age of consent is 16 which is why they describe it as being grown up but legally u have to be 18 to be an adult. So i think what she meant is shes nit a child literally but now is grown up enough for him to take her confessions seriously ig. Tho i wish he didnt realize his feelings now already ugh
