the one time i am actually on Jaehyuk's side. the poor guy's been doing so much to redeem himself and Garam need to step up his game on the whole introspection thing. a past relationship that ended badly is only gonna mimic the present one if he lets it and the way he avoided how he felt about it when Jaehyuk (his present partner) brought it up, says how much Garam should acknowledge it even more and move on. Jaehyuk's a one of a kind and Garam is actually lucky with him this time

well you gotta realise too that jaehyuk genuinely kinda SAd him. I mean, like in all yaoi, the secondary male lead just forgets about it and doesnt care anymore. But I can never feel sorry for SA offenders. it IS cute tho that they are trying to function like a normal couple

scratch "kinda" coz he straight up did. i had to put off reading this manhwa since it began uploading here because the comments then were nothing but frustrations towards Jaehyuk. i only binged it this month when i saw it was already 2 seasons in and s3 was starting. within 2 days give or take, i saw how Jaehyuk changed from the insufferable a-hole he was to this guy who genuinely wanted to be someone special to Garam. i never feel sorry for SA offenders either but what's always important for me is the present and whether the characters managed to heal from their past selves, traumatic or otherwise. Jaehyuk however started as this grade A homophobic bastard who didn't even have a sad backstory to divide readers on whether they should feel sorry for him or not (i despised how he got it all including a shitty homophobic personality). he only changed his stance when he realized his feelings for Garam and wanted to pursue it. he did a lot of (albeit messy) introspection and was only able to get a foot in when Garam needed to see his mom. i'm mostly glad Jaehyuk didn't continue to be in denial especially since he was a homophobe, his previous actions however i will not completely forgive but like i said, the present is what matters and i think he did what he could to make up for it all. now i want Garam to heal as well and i can not wait when he does coz he is mostly the character whose well-being really mattered to me since i first began reading this, but for now i'm on Jaehyuk's side this time
