This is calculus right, I swear I saw this type of problem when I took calc 3A

A is obv the MC and B is Edgelord.
So if B is going half the speed, that means he had to have been going back and forth as well half as many times? So maybe he only remembers every other round? But it says he started at the midpoint so maybe he only remembers not 4/8 but 2/8 of the rounds.
Any math nerds wanna pitch in their theories? :3
