In the novel Ran is a green flag wit no ulterior motives. if u want to "let the mc be" then the plausible relationship would be with Ran but if u want to see him go through r*pe and hardships then ofc u would want to seem him with garon *eyeroll*
what i meant is let the mc decide for himself. i don’t read the novel or whatsoever. so i dont know what will happen or who will he end up with. like i said, i was just curious to see if there is some chance for garon and the mc to develop their relationship into something better— emotionally. as for the mr green flag, he is a nice guy but i just think it’s unnecessary for him to force himself into the mc, it’s disappointing tbh. though, im glad that he stopped halfway cuz god knows how bad it will turn out if he keeps it up.
